Their food is fantastic. My only issue ever with this place has been when a grubhub driver decided to deliver four orders at once in completely opposite corners of the city. When I realized what was going on and complained, I received a text with a picture of the driver eating my food. That being said, I can't fault the restaurant for anything other than their decision to utilize grubhub. Other than the one delivery mishap, the food was always fast, hot and perfect as ordered. I particularly enjoyed the general tso's which included very large chicken pieces - great taste and texture which can sometimes be questionable with other city chinese food. I'm not a cultured man so my taste is very basic but this place does the basics very well. They probably do everything well but I can't judge what I don't know. I do know the several different chicken dishes and various smaller plates that I have tried have all been awesome and this has become my go-to chinese downtown.

    Pros:
    Decent food
    Good menu choices
    Fairly clean restaurant
    Average priced

    Cons:
    Horrendous service

The 2 Star review is based solely on service not food quality.

Food is good and priced good however nothing special. They were not busy, 4 tables occupied at the time I visited.

The service is absolutely terrible, servers are unattentive and unfriendly and they really dont care that they are. Take out orders are very low priority as guests dining in will get all the attention, the long line at the register of complaining people is the sign, some people walked out.

While I waited to place my to go order, the waitress walked by me 6 times without a word to me, at one point she took the menu right from me that I was reading and gave it to a customer who was seated.

Will still stop in here and there but no way will I become a regular customer.

How this Chinese restaurant has just three stars is beyond me!  My guess is due to the more authentic quality of the food that most Americans aren't used to when visiting the large cities of the Northeast!  Much like NY, Philly, or Boston the Chinese is usually pretty damn good!  Uncle Lee's has had the same owner for 30+ years and from celebrities to vacationers to locals alike, the food has a more authentic appeal!
Located in an old bank that probably dates back 100 years or so, you are mesmerized by the building upon entering!  It's simply a site to behold!  The food is fantastic as well, as the Pork Lo Mein, Wonton Soup, and General Tso Chicken is all incredibly good!  Each is done with ore of a authentic twist to it, but that is something that I can really appreciate!
If for nothing else, you gotta go check out the interior of this massive old bank building, and give credit to Uncle Lee's for their longevity for doing something that obviously appeals to someone!

I have rarely posted a bad review. This is the most unappetizing
Chinese food I have ever eaten. I ordered on line Shrimp Lo Mein
absolutely no flavor and instead of small to medium shrimp there are Krill
what fisherman use for bait. The shrimp potstickers had paste in them no shrimp were not edible. I love Chinese food and I am temporarily in Baltimore so not familiar with Inner Harbor restaurants. This is one to avoid. I have been enjoying Chinese food for 50 years and have never had to throw it away without eating it.

This place has really gotten bad. I came here about four years ago and I loved their food, atmosphere and their flavor!!!!

..but I went the other day and the lunch portion looked like it was for a child and I got charged $1 extra for every vegetable I asked to be put in my shrimp and broccoli. Safe to say, I'm never coming back:(
